Dr. Coleman

Dr. Ashley Coleman, originally from Jackson, AL, is a board-certified family medicine physician. He graduated from the University of South Alabama with a bachelor’s in biology. Following his undergraduate program, he attended the University of Alabama, where he received his master’s in health education. He earned his doctorate from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine as a part of the Rural Medicine Scholars Program.

While at UAB School of Medicine, Dr. Coleman was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha – Medical Honor Society. He completed his residency program in Family Medicine at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC.

Dr. Coleman credits his grandfather, also a family physician, for inspiring him to pursue a career in medicine.

In his free time, he enjoys freshwater fishing, inshore saltwater fishing, history, genealogy, and collecting vinyl records.
