Kate Ferguson, CRNP
Kate Ferguson, CRNP knew from a young age she wanted to pursue a career in the medical field. She received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from The University of South Alabama in 2008 and spent the next six years working as an emergency room nurse at Thomas Hospital. This experience enabled her to care for patients of all ages with a variety of healthcare problems.

She decided to advance her degree and graduated from The University of Alabama at Birmingham as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) in the Spring of 2014. She is dual-certified in adult-gerontology and women’s health. Following graduation, Kate practiced for three years at an internal medicine clinic in Mobile, Alabama where she cared for and treated adult patients with an array of both acute and chronic conditions. She has also served as preceptor to nurse practitioner students attending The University of South Alabama.
Kate has the desire to be a valuable resource in the community in which patients will be provided an atmosphere of reliability, trust and comfort. Her ambition is not only to diagnose, treat and educate her patients, but also to build a rapport with each one.
Kate, her husband Ryan, and their children Fisher and Eleanor, share a love of traveling, and enjoy going on new adventures.
